comfort....

Yes I said it ... Comfort.

Few things in life provide such things. Friends, Family, Your favorite sweater or blanket. Even Money... \

Yes while they say money won't buy you love, there is a comfort in knowing it is there... For emergencies and good things.
I found out today, My Husband K got a promotion at work. This means I don't HAVE to work, but I still want to.
That is another comfort, JOBS.
With the economy tanking, and unemployment rising... The fact that he has a Job is comforting, and that I am in the running for a job that will propel my career forward... is amazing.

The biggest Comfort of All... Is knowing that My God loves me so much... that he is raining these blessings down, faster then I can tell him Thank you! What a Wonderful love.

Now to the Exercise report.(sort of)
I started working out this weekend. Up at Shakespeare Ghost town, We walked  a LOT. It snowed Saturday Morning, and as the snow melted, it washed up some amazing artifacts. My family and I enjoy wandering the Hills and Arroyos, looking for small pieces of history to take to the owner of the town, and listen to the stories of what the Item is... what it's uses were... and Occasionally... how cool of a find it really is.
Keith's big find was a completely INTACT whiskey bottle, that was over 100 years old. My find was part of the "stamp" of a piece of china.
I did my push ups, Sit ups and mini workout.
Today I start My workout for RUNNING...
My mom and I are intending on running/walking the Bradon Aboud 5k. (click his name to learn more)  They posted an AWESOME 5K training schedule, which I am also going to use to Get in shape for my 1.5 Mile run for the Sheriffs office.

Thats about it for today... I leave you all with four epic Photos...

sleeplessness

Totally meant to go for a run today..
but with all of the school, and shopping with mom, and K's tooth being ... nasty... i did maybe 20 crunches... and... 20 girly pushups.
But I did some MAJOR shopping today...
Got a cute new dress, My Sister In Laws present... and some other random items .
Thursday K gets his tooth fixed thank goodness, and this weekend we get to spend away from society in Shakespeare Ghost Town.

It will be nice to disconnect for a while.  I have been tapped into my interwebs for far to long i think....

Insanity...

That's right... insanity...
I am only a few months away from graduation with my Associates in Criminal Justice.
I am waiting to hear results from my Sheriffs department test. If I passed or failed. It was hard, and I am sure the next few test will be just as hard. On top of that.... we have a house. K and I found a House to rent, they are fixing a few small items first, but it looks like a June move in date.

But back to the Mention of Insanity.

I am going to try this Insanity workout. I have seen it shape people in like... 60 days... So i am going to give it a shot. I hate that I look at these photo's of myself... and I'm ... cute... but I'm defiantly overweight. I am also tired of these size 16 and size 18 jeans. And I am TIRED of being Tired. I am going to try to see if Insanity is going to be enough ... or if I need to work it in with my current (all be it lame) workouts.

I start Next week.... And everyday (that I can) I will post my weight... and basic measurements...
we will see if progress is made.

I have all my files on her too. I will be filming all my adventures, starting with tonight and the awesome airplain ride of DOOOOOMMMM LOL

I only say doom, because my two year old son will be coming with.
So stay tuned here :)

Been Soooooo bad!

I've been bad about keeping up with this thing.
I supposed I should start posting once a day.
Yesterday was the day after Christmas, and it was nice.
We went to Church, where we heard an awesome sermon. It's amazing how many people will turn out for candle-light service, yet abandon the church the rest of the year. Some have good excuses, sure. But what about the rest?
It was very enlightening. The Christmas season has technically started... and will end on Resurrection Sunday ( Easter for the rest of you)

Bobby has been playing Dinosaur train ALL morning (the morning which started at..... 5:30am)
I have to laugh at him because he knocks one of the dino's out, and Starts crying. Keith or myself MUST run over RIGHT that instant and fix it. *chuckles*

I think that's about it for now...

There'll be Joy Joy Joy in the morning

I'm waiting for my new Hard drive,
yes, you heard me correctly, a NEW hard drive. For the HP.
I know I know, I swore I would NEVER mess with the sucker again, but I'm faced with a LONG trip where TWO laptops will be much better then one. My toshiba is MINE! I'll admit it, I'm greedy. I don't wanna share her! (actually don't want to listen to Keith talk about my settings)
Plus, this way I can watch a movie or what ever on the flight, and bobby can play games or which ever, on the flight.

I think I will turn today into computer day!
I need to find out why the spare desktop is misbehaving!
It's acting like it's fried, but it was hooked up to a surge protector (a pretty amazing one at that) so there is really not a reason for it to be toast. I know it needs a good cleaning anyway so...

I'm hoping I can do all this with out having to take my computer to the guys down the road. I just spent 50 bucks for the Hard drive Upgrade, I don't want to spend another 70 for them to set it up (buuuuuut, I did save 30 bucks, they were gonna charge me 80 for a new drive)

Today is a good day to get Frustrated though. Keith and I are going out tonight to watch some friends of ours sing various Gilbert and Sullivan songs! and the Month countdown begins. 28 days till we fly to Chicago. A long needed get away from El Paso!
Don't get me wrong, I love the city. I love the people here, the small town attitude. But that's what I hate about it to. El Paso feels SO slow, I need to go to the high paced cities every once in a while. It helps me to get my motivation back.

Maybe I can get some Artistic inspiration back LOL

Made of Win!

Gonna share this because it's awesome!
I don't know who did it... found it Via my Sister in Law on Facebook.

Halleluja Chorus!

these kids are amazing,
they took one of the HARDEST songs to sing (I've sang it, so I speak from experience here)
and made it FUN!
I have to admit I was cracking up. This is very outside the box, and I think even the NON-musical among us can appreciate this.

On that note,
I probably should start my school work.
